The public is invited to a free program at the Montauk Library on Sunday, September 30 at 2:30 in the afternoon when East Hampton resident, Genie Chipps Henderson will discuss her new historical novel, A DAY LIKE ANY OTHER, a fictionalized account of events that took place in the East End during the Hurricane of 1938. A short documentary of Montauk during the hurricane will be shown, and a book signing will follow the program, courtesy of the Friends of the Montauk Library. This program is part of the Stormy Weather series of archival photos, lectures, and concerts running through the end of October at the Montauk Library, 871 Montauk Highway, in Montauk.
